Entrepreneurship Club

The Entrepreneurship Club has run student‑only for semesters. This fall it adds its first faculty advisor and a direct line into SKEMA Entrepreneurs globally.

The club runs the monthly events: Pitch Night, Ecosystem Night, Demo Day. Booking the speakers, filling the room, building the Raleigh partnerships. But also a bi‑weekly club meetup for anyone interested in getting involved in entrepreneurship.

Your 2026–27 leadership

12 Ventures,
12 Weeks

An application-based cohort that goes from something to something: early traction to starting to scale. Aligned to the SKEMA Entrepreneurs LAUNCH tier, so what you build here plugs into the global network.

Weekly working sessions every Tuesday, 11:30–12:15, with real-time coaching on your live problems: first customers, pricing, US market entry. Rotating Raleigh founders and mentors co-lead. It ends with Demo Day on November 17, streamed to every SKEMA campus.

What 12 weeks looks like

Weeks 1–4

Find the problem

Talk to real people first. Not a perfect idea. A real problem.

Weeks 5–8

Build it

The smallest version that works, in front of someone who isn’t your friend.

Weeks 9–12

Get traction

First customers. First revenue. Real proof, by Demo Day.

Questions people actually ask

Do I need an idea to apply?

For the accelerator, yes: something you have already started poking at. If you are still looking for the idea, join the club first; that is exactly what it is for, and the next cohort will pull from it.

Do I need a team or a registered company?

No. Solo founders are welcome and nothing needs to be incorporated. You need a problem you care about and the willingness to talk to strangers about it.

How much time is this?

Forty-five minutes a week in the room, Tuesdays 11:30–12:15. The work between sessions is whatever your venture needs. The founders who get the most out of it treat it like a class they actually want to pass.

What happens at Demo Day?

November 17. Every venture in the cohort presents real traction to students, faculty, mentors and the local Raleigh ecosystem, streamed live to Lille, Paris, Sophia, Suzhou and Belo Horizonte.

Come to the Accelerator Interest Session on Tuesday, September 1, 11:30–12:30 in the Venture II AI Lab. It exists for exactly this. Or join the mailing list below and reply to anything that lands.

What We Believe

Entrepreneurship looks nothing like it did five years ago. Building is the cheap part now. Idea to first version in a weekend, for almost nothing.

So the advantage moved. It is who finds the problems actually worth solving, and who earns enough trust to be the one people call. Fast cycle time beats a good plan, because it tells you sooner whether the problem is real.

And the problem is the whole job. Most things that fail were built well for a problem nobody had. You do not find that out at a desk. You find it by talking to the people living with it.

That part never got cheaper. When everyone can build anything, the moat is human.

If you want to be in a room full of people who believe it is possible, this is the room.
